Job Role: Accountant- Bilingual

Summary of Job Functions:
The position is responsible for managing core accounting functions, including preparing and analyzing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and documenting transactions. The role involves maintaining accounting controls, auditing documents, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Additional duties include preparing payments, developing budgets, and generating special financial reports. Strong communication, customer service, and record management skills are essential, along with proficiency in MS Office and QuickBooks. This position reports to the Accounting Manager.
Essential Duties:
- Prepare assets, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Document financial transactions by entering account information.
- Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
- Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
- Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
- Accomplish the result by performing the duty.
- Answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
- Work closely with Human Resources team.
- Able to Develop Budgets, Legal Compliance, Tracking Budget Expenses, Managing Processes, Reporting Research Results, Management Proficiency.
Requirements
- QuickBooks Knowledge is a must
- Good understanding of Hindi language (proficient) is a must.
- Minimum 2 years of Accounting experience required.
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in accounting preferred.
- Experience in Mortgage or Manufacturing industry preferred
- Ability to provide excellent customer service in person and on the phone.
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent records and file management skills.
- Knowledge and experience using MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Knowledge of accounting processes and procedures.
