Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a meaningful contract opportunity serving students from pre-k through 12th grade as a Speech Language Pathologist. This position offers flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours, with weekly schedules ranging from 37.5-39 hours (full-time) or 19-21 hours (part-time). You’ll support diverse student needs, from nonverbal preschoolers to secondary students with specific articulation goals—all within three engaging school buildings. This opening is available both onsite and via teletherapy (VOCO), and applicants interested in part-time roles are encouraged to apply. SLPs with their CCC and SLPAs under supervision are welcome.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current CCC-SLP certification
• Valid state licensure for Michigan (or eligibility, if out-of-state VOCO candidate)
• Experience with a range of disabilities and speech concerns
• Familiarity and efficiency with IEP processes, caseload management, and scheduling IEP meetings
• Knowledge of Medicaid billing practices
• Ability to collaborate effectively with school teams and families
• Strong organizational skills and attention to confidential student documentation

Role Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and provide direct speech/language therapy services for a diverse caseload
• Complete eligibility evaluations and progress reports per required timelines
• Manage and update IEPs, facilitate meetings, and clearly communicate student progress
• Conduct Medicaid billing accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate as an engaged member of each building’s educational team
• Provide supervision for SLPAs if required, particularly for VOCO candidates
