Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

The Customer Service Representative will support transportation and logistics operations through a variety of customer service and office duties, including:

• Entering and updating freight information and tracking systems

• Processing pickup orders by phone and email

• Scheduling and confirming delivery appointments

• Requesting online appointments when required

• Answering and directing incoming phone calls

• Monitoring and responding to emails

• Routing freight to drivers in designated service areas

• Resolving customer service issues and shipment concerns

• Coordinating with departments to address service failures

• Performing general office and administrative duties

• Operating computer systems and entering shipment data accurately

This role requires strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities within a fast-paced transportation and logistics environment.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• 2 years of customer service experience preferred

• 2 years of related office or administrative experience preferred

• Strong computer and data entry skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment

• Experience in logistics, freight, dispatching, or transportation is helpful but not required
