Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates and competitive bids for commercial plumbing projects
• Review blueprints, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform material and labor takeoffs
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
• Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams during project handoff
• Identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities
• Maintain organized bid documentation and track bid results
• Build positive and effective relationships with vendors, contractors, and clients

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of commercial plumbing experience (field or estimating)
• Proven experience in estimating and takeoffs
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
• Solid understanding of plumbing systems and construction practices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software
• Knowledge of state and local plumbing codes
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and self-motivated
