This is a full-time position providing community based clinical services to assist individuals from diverse backgrounds in achieving sustained recovery from a substance use disorder. The therapist would lead their case manager and recovery coach teammate in using evidence-based practices to guide clients based on their individual needs. Clinical interventions would include trauma-informed care that pertains to substance abuse, mental health, and individual therapy. This clinical position requires a high level of case conceptualization as well as flexibility to be able to meet the client where they are at in their stage of change.

Limited License encouraged to apply as employees receive weekly individual supervision and at least monthly team supervision. Family Outreach Center also offers an annual training budget allotment for continuing education. Successful candidates will have an ability to work well in a team setting, utilize an electronic clinical record, and work with multiple disciplines and agencies. Travel throughout Kent County is required as you will meet in clients' homes or in the community, however the majority of travel takes place in the metro Grand Rapids area. Mileage expenses are reimbursed at a rate of $0.50/mile.
