Job Summary:

Hotel Night Auditor/Front Desk Agent - responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities, assisting in guest requests during the overnight period. They will also balance the guest room charges, restaurant charges, and other hotel accounts from the day. They would also be responsible for ensuring that every guest has an enjoyable experience at the hotel; whether that be answering any questions, recommending activities and/or restaurants to guests.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Greeting and thanking guests in a sincere, friendly manner.
  • Checking guests in on arrival and out on departure.
  • Posting charges to appropriate guest accounts.
  • Anticipating and addressing guests’ needs, and resolving their issues.
  • Assisting guests with disabilities.
  • Answering phones and assisting with inquires.
  • Taking reservations through the overnight period.
  • Running the night auditor procedures; by balancing all guest room charges, restaurant charges, credit cards, making sure all credit cards on file have been pre-approved and have authorization for the guest’s stay.
  • Collaborating and communicating with other internal departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Complying with company procedures and safety policies.
  • Performing duties on daily checklist.

Required Experience/Requirements:

  • Previous guest service experience preferred
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision, while meeting high-performance standards
  • Team Player
  • Physical mobility and stamina
  • Ability to follow specific direction and instructions
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Well groomed, professional, and polite
  • Must be able to work overnights, weekends, and holidays
