Salary Range: $43,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of manufactured products and components.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs.
• Document inspection results accurately, including identifying and reporting non-conformances.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure product quality.
• Identify and quarantine defective materials or products, initiating corrective action processes.
• Maintain and perform basic calibration checks on inspection tools and equipment.
• Adhere strictly to quality control procedures, standards, and safety regulations.

Recommended Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in manufacturing quality inspection or a related role.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately use precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM).
• Solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills to identify non-conformances.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) or other automated inspection equipment.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• ASQ certification (e.g., CQT, CQI).
• Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) for data analysis.
