This role is a direct report to Global Cost Accounting Manager and is responsible for leading the activities of the cost accounting team in Milwaukee and Twinsburg. The individual in this role will work closely with the manufacturing sites & distribution centers on matters related to physical inventories, variances to standards, issue identification and Internal Controls. Ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting business partners, strong financial and systems acumen with a focus on efficiency, and exemplary communication skills.

Key Accountabilities:

• Lead Cost Accounting team on a day-to-day basis
• Supervise and support daily operations of the team members to ensure proper application of cost accounting principles and other process activities
• Monitor the financial integrity of manufacturing processes including Production Order Variance, Purchase Price Variance & Cycle Counts analysis
• Perform the month end close process for the Cost Accounting team related entries
• Participate in the biennial global cost roll process and ensure its accuracy and completeness
• Coordinate and conduct in the physical inventory audits
• Maintain tight compliance controls: ensure compliance with the requirements of the Corporate Finance Policies (SOX, external audit etc.) related to inventory
• Train the Cost Accounting team on cost roll and SAP transactional analytics
• Help motivate others in the team to achieve targets and performance standards

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in Cost Accounting
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Preferred Qualifications

• Typically requires management experience of at least 2 years.
• Prior cost accounting experience strongly desired
• SAP product costing experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Unquestioned ethics and integrity
• Ability for periodic short-term travel for conducting physical inventory audits.
