Salary Range: $56,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of machinists, providing technical guidance and support.
• Set up, operate, and program complex CNC machinery for precision part production.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure adherence to strict quality standards and blueprints.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, optimizing machine performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to refine manufacturing processes.
• Ensure all machining operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist in scheduling and prioritizing machining tasks to meet production deadlines.

Recommended Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience (5+ years preferred) with CNC and manual machining operations.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and train a team of machinists effectively.
• Proficiency in G-code programming, CAM software, and interpreting complex blueprints.
• Expertise in precision measurement tools and maintaining tight tolerances for critical components.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for machining processes, equipment, and quality issues.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced CAD/CAM programming proficiency (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360)
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies
• Proficiency in operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) or other advanced metrology equipment
• Prior experience in fixture design and fabrication
