About the Team
Join ZF’s diagnostics team to lead the launch and ownership of a new vehicle diagnostics software platform focused on commercial vehicles. This role combines software product ownership, go-to-market strategy, and cross-functional coordination to ensure a successful rollout. You will work closely with global teams across engineering, legal, customer support, and commercial operations to deliver a seamless launch experience.
The position requires a hybrid schedule at our Auburn Hills, MI office.

What you can look forward to as Software Launch Manager – Vehicle Diagnostics:

• Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for new vehicle diagnostics software.
• Translate market and customer requirements into actionable implementation plans for internal and external product & development teams.
• Manage all aspects of the product launch, including legal, customer support, documentation, and internal readiness.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across global product, engineering, legal, and support teams.
• Own and communicate project delivery timelines and updates for diverse stakeholder groups, including executive leadership.
• Partner with product managers and business leaders to shape and execute the overall diagnostics strategy.

Your profile as Software Launch Manager – Vehicle Diagnostics:

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
• Proven experience in software product launches, ideally in B2B or industrial markets.
• Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics, preferably in commercial vehicles.
• Ability to work independently and in ambiguous or new situations.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen.
• Experience managing customer transitions to rearchitected SaaS products, including changes in licensing and user management.
• Familiarity with software development concepts (APIs, licensing, enterprise integrations); technical depth not required.
• Excellent communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
