These will amplify your impact across technical and organizational dimensions. **Education, Licenses, Certifications:** College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or appropriate STEM field is required. Post-graduate (Master's) degree relevant to this discipline area may be required for select roles. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. **Experience:** Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making. Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred.  **QUALIFICATIONS** + Perform engineering analysis necessary for the production design, application and testing of axle/suspension, components, and systems. This will include the use of CAE tools such as CREO, CREO SIMULATE, ANSYS, etc. + Manage all aspects of engineering products according to customer requirements with focus on coordinating project timing, costs, test plans and prototype builds. + Create preliminary concepts of component/systems and work with designers to release detailed drawing packages. + Identify, verify and implement solutions to warranty or quality problems that affect product performance. + Excellent understanding of static analysis, fatigue analysis and familiar with fundamentals of dynamic and kinematic studies + Knowledge and understanding of vehicle dynamics is preferred. + BSME (MSME preferred) with minimum of 4 years of full time direct, practical experience to include: + Experience with Off-highway & specialty vehicle products and systems + Experience with planetary axle housing & wheel-ends + Design experience with structural components (forgings, castings, weldments) + Creation and maintenance of DFMEA and DVP&R tools. + Experienced using 3D part & assembly modeling software (CREO) + Knowledge of product development stage gate product development processes (e.g. GP3 or Advanced Product Quality + Planning (APQP) including involvement in the launch of a new product. Preferred Qualifications  + Knowledge and understanding of vehicle dynamics  + Experience with geared systems  + Experience with cost reduction activities and processes (VA/VE) + DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturing / Design for Assembly)  + DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) + **Onsite Position - Hybrid work expectation: 3- day office 2-day WFH** Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range.
