Experience a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students’ communication development in an engaging school setting near Imlay City, MI. Work with students from kindergarten through grade 12, focusing on both younger and broader K–12 age groups. Collaborate with educators and families to help students overcome communication barriers and reach their full potential.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Speech Language Pathologist license or certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) highly preferred
- Experience delivering SLP services in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare settings
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and documentation standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities when working with students, staff, and caregivers
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in K–3 and K–12 populations
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and track students’ progress
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and family members to deliver targeted interventions
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Support the school community with training, consultation, and ongoing communication
