Overview: The Seasonal Construction & Playscape Technician is responsible for supporting the mission of the ODC Network through the execution of construction and improvement projects for playscapes, buildings and grounds and property management. The employee is responsible for supporting the mission of the ODC Network through these activities in addition to being a positive representative of the organization in the community.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with Playscape crew to prepare and install projects in a professional and timely manner.
- Work with various power tools to finish logs and assist in installing custom playground equipment.
- Assist with installing all aspects of landscapes and hardscapes for Natural Playscape projects.
- All other duties as assigned by the VP of Operations
Desired Skills:
- Landscaping and site work experience
- General carpentry skills (skill saw, mitre saw, table saw, etc.)
- Heavy equipment safe use and operation
- Chainsaw safe use and operation
- Rigging and lifting
- Vehicle operation
- General Labor
- Strong ability to work both collaboratively and independently, strong interpersonal skills in a team setting.
- Successfully pass a background check and have a valid driver's license.
Education/Experience/Requirements:
- High school diploma preferred but not required
- One year of comparable experience in new construction buildings, grounds, parks/playscapes, equipment maintenance and operations preferred but not required
- Must be at least 18 years old
Physical Demands:
This position requires the ability to work outside in all weather conditions. Must be able to occasionally lift to 75 pounds, walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time.
Equipment Operated:
- Must be able to operate a tractor, lawn mower, chainsaws, utility vehicles and other construction equipment
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications, Google, and the operation of general office equipment.
