Field Sales Manager (Central)

At NSA, we are looking to add to our sales team. As a Field Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving business growth within a specified territory and cultivating connections with end users to “pull” business through NSA’s customers to drive revenue growth. You will be building strong relationship with distributor customers, with a focus on training and promotion programs, to motivate distributors to promote and sell NSA’s product line to their end user customers. The ideal candidate has a strong background in sales, excellent “hunter” sales skills, and the capability to achieve and surpass sales targets. Essential Job Functions:- Develop and implement a sales strategy for NSA’s end users within a designated territory.
- Build and maintain strong positive relationships with NSA’s direct customers, providing training and motivation to encourage the promotion of NSA products to their end user customers.
- Collaborate with NSA’s Director of Strategic Accounts (DSA) to enhance strategies aimed at increasing NSA’s market share with major distributor customers through end user training and promotional programs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to effectively address customer needs and streamline sales processes.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts, while being fully aware of new products and competitive dynamics.
- Frequent travel is required. Current Territories (Can be subject to change):
- IL, MN, WI, IA
- KS, MO, ND, SD, NE, OK, AR Salary Range: $125,000 - $140,000 Non-Essential Job Functions:
- Active participation in industry related trade shows and associations
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred but not required.
Experience: 3+ years of sales experience preferred
- Proven success as an Account Manager, Field Sales Manager, or another similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of sales processes and dynamics.
- Exhibits excellent leadership, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Possess a solid understanding of sales performance metrics and reporting.
- Maintains high personal integrity, sales proficiency, and a strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit/stand for duration of work day, daily computer use. Lift up to 50lbs. Carry and transport sample bags.
Working Conditions: Conditions can vary at customer manufacturing locations.
