MEDICAL INSURANCE AUTHORIZATION SPECIALIST

Valley Ear Nose and Throat Associates is looking for a Part-time Authorization Specialist to join our team in Saginaw, MI.
The Position
The Authorization Specialist will be responsible for the following:
- Obtaining surgical authorizations.
- Calling insurance companies to get patient deductible information.
- Calling patients to inform them of deductible amounts due before surgery.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of experience in a similar position preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong organizational skills are required. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work under pressure under deadline pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Must be able to work in a team environment while maintaining a sense of individual accountability.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:
