About The Position: The crib position offers a unique opportunity to get involved in all facets of the manufacturing process here at Clinton Machine. We have a small but growing team that specializes in fabrication and building custom automation systems. Since we are a low volume, specialized company, there will be opportunity during slower times to help in other departments and learn various skilled trades, aside from the every day shipping and receiving responsibilities.

Also, this position will be responsible for some deliveries of materials all across Michigan, so you will need to be confident driving a company vehicle to and from various vendors and customer facilities.

Qualified candidates should possess the following qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficient in Using Computers.
• USA Citizenship a Requirement.
• Driver License or Chauffeurs License.
• Ability to drive forklifts & trucks.
• Organized Handling of Materials & Paperwork.
• Good Record Keeping Skills.
• Self-motivated & Ability to multi-task.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• Comfortable Driving Company Vehicle, and Occasionally Tow a Trailer

JOB DUTIES:

• Coordinate daily with the Purchasing & Manufacturing departments.
• Utilize computers to log in material receipts and job updates.
• Coordinate Incoming & Outgoing Materials Receipts & Packing Slips with Purchasing.
• Responsible for packaging & shipping Machined details & Sub-Assemblies.
• Track Materials Receipt vs Outstanding for Specific Jobs.
• Track incoming & outgoing Details sent for Special Processing (heat treat, plating, powder-coat, etc.).
• Responsible for monitoring stock material; and keeping Crib well organized and clean.
• Assist in keeping shop clean in all departments including rest rooms.
• Pick-up and delivery of goods to customers.
