Quality Engineer - Wyoming Area
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans and procedures.
- Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor and analyze key quality performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Lead and participate in internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, IATF).
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams on new product introduction (NPI) to ensure quality by design.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and SPC.
- Ensure products and processes comply with relevant industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with core quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D).
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective corrective actions.
- ASQ certification (e.g., CQE, CSSBB) preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
- Experience with specific industry quality management systems (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 13485)
