Security Gatehouse Attendant- Contingent
Allegria Village , a vibrant and secure senior living community in Dearborn, is excited to welcome a Contingent Gatehouse Attendant to our team!
Shift Details:
This role is Contingent , meaning you’ll be scheduled just two weekends per month — a total of 32 hours per month . It’s the perfect opportunity for someone seeking a flexible, part-time commitment. Day and afternoon shifts are available.

What You’ll Do
Greet and log all visitors, residents, and employees
Help keep our campus running smoothly by directing traffic
Complete Daily Rounds Reports
Make regular rounds of buildings and grounds
Patrol the property to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
Prepare Incident Reports when needed
Respond thoughtfully and promptly to medical emergencies
Support our leadership team with additional tasks that keep our community thriving
Other duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of related experience
First Aid Certification (preferred)
Strong multitasker who communicates clearly and confidently
Comfortable reading instructions, safety rules, and procedural documents
Able to write clear reports and documentation
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) and willingness to learn new systems
Organized, dependable, and great at managing time
Strong judgment and problem-solving skills
Works well independently and with a team
Calm, steady presence in stressful situations
Valid Driver’s License required (to operate our patrol vehicle)
Education
High school diploma or GED
Physical Requirements
To excel in this role, you should be able to:
Lift up to 50 lbs
Walk, stand, push, pull, stoop, bend, crawl, carry, stretch, and type
Maintain clear vision (close, distance, color, depth perception)
