Quality Inspector

Job Summary

Responsible for inspecting parts and detecting dimensional and visual abnormalities using Industry standards while adhering to AS9100:16 principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Confirms quality using hand held Measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, depth gage, gage blocks, Trimos height gages, etc )
• Confirms quality using Programmable measuring equipment (CMM)
• Understands tolerances and which resolution gages to use to gather accurate results
• Interprets and understands blueprints and GD&T callouts
• Perform First piece inspections
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Understand how to retrieve prints. Fcd forms & inspection checklist
• Records labor on Hour by Hour sheets, KPI boards or other assigned places
• Follows all work shop & safety rules
• Performs other dutries as assigned.Education

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2- 3 years quality/inspection background
