Layout Technician - Quality

Direct Hire

$24 - $28 Per hour
Experienced only please

Responsibilities of Position:

1. Manage/Maintain Inspection Measurement Equipment Calibration/Certification System (Use of software application deemed by the company).
2. Develop, maintain lab scope and calibration procedures, documents and forms.
3. Perform Gage R&R's and on-going gage testing.
4. Order/maintain Gage calibration and certification system.
5. Inspect contour gages- Annual/Initial/Verification/validation

Skill Requirements:

1. Ability to read blueprints including geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T) schemes.
2. Ability to read, understand customer and equipment prints including documentation.
3. Individual must be highly motivated and self-directed with little to no supervision.
4. Strong organizational skills, with very close attention to detail.
5. Ability to train employees both individuals and in groups.
6. Must be able to perform gage certifications and calibration.
7. Understands Quality Audit System (SPC charts, Poka-Yokes, Inspections, etc).
