Material Handler (1st & 2nd Shift)
- 1st Shift, Monday-Thursday (6:00am-4:30pm)
- 2nd Shift, Monday-Thursday (4:30pm-3:00am) with $.50 cents shift differential pay per hour
- Friday 1st shift (6am to 2:30pm)
- Friday 2nd shift (2:30pm to 11:00pm) with $.50 cents shift differential pay per hour
- $17.79 per hour
- Ensures accuracy on incoming receipts by counting items and comparing the packing slip to the purchase order while checking packages for damage
- Initiates sales order process by consolidating received items or by staging items for further processing of shipments
- Stocking items in correct locations
- Delivers and retrieves materials by operating material handling equipment, including Hi-Lo and Wave 60 Lift Machine
- Assembles and prepares orders for shipment
- Maintains quality service by following organizational standards and departmental processes and procedures
- Contributes to a total team effort by being versatile in all areas and functions in the warehouse
- Observe established safe working, housekeeping procedures and promptly correct and/or notify supervisor
- All supplemental duties, responsibilities, or non-essential requirements as assigned
- High school diploma/GED or 2 years of experience
- No experience required with high school diploma/GED; 1 year of experience is preferred
- Must have valid State Driver's License
- Must meet the specific requirements for operating the Hi-Lo and Wave 60 Lift Machine
- Ability to be highly organized
- Work in a fast-paced environment

- While performing duties may be required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, bend, twist or lift, up to 45 pounds
- May be required to work more than 8 hours in a day or 40 hours in a week based on departmental needs
- Office and manufacturing environment
- May be exposed to manufacturing plant conditions and elements including but not limited to noise, dust, dirt, oil, and grease
- PPE's may be required including safety glasses, ear plugs and safety shoes in specified areas of the plant
- A minimum of three (2) years material handling experience
- Strong teamwork skills with a proven track record to collaborate optimally in dynamic environments
- Experience within fast-paced manufacturing settings
