Job Description

This is a first shift Journeyman Machine Repair role. The individual will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, cleaning, and inspections on plastic injection molding presses and auxiliary equipment. The role involves working on grinders, presses, heaters, dryers, cranes, motors, and hydraulic/pneumatics systems. Additionally, the technician will handle 3-phase motors and 480v electrical systems. The position requires installing, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment related to hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems within an injection molding manufacturing facility. Equipment includes injection molding machines, process water systems, compressed air systems, and automated paint lines.

Essential Skills

• Journeyman's Card
• 3+ years of experience in hydraulic and electrical systems
• 3+ years of experience in machine repair and maintenance
• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical troubleshooting
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints

This is a Permanent position based out of Kalamazoo, MI.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
