Manufacturing Controls Electrician, Automation & Drives

Role overview
Provide expert electrical maintenance for production, quality, and inspection systems, ensuring uptime and product excellence across the plant.
Primary responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and correct faults on PLC, PC, NC, and CNC controls.
- Analyze electrical schematics to diagnose equipment issues efficiently.
- Install, relocate, and align machinery to achieve proper function and throughput.
- Execute electrical work and basic mechanical repairs and installations facility‑wide.
- Participate in continuous improvement; implement machine and program changes derived from CI initiatives.
Core competencies
- Electrical troubleshooting methodologies
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
Preferred experience
- CNC machine controls: Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, or Fanuc
- PLC programming and debugging
- HMI development and troubleshooting
- Variable Frequency Drive diagnostics
- Machine vision system troubleshooting
Tools and technologies
- Programmable Logic Controllers (Fanuc, Allen‑Bradley, Siemens)
