We are searching for an analytical, enthusiastic Auto Tech to help customers resolve issues with vehicle performance & functionality.

Auto Technician Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 28.00 to $ 38.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

• Work with manager & other mechanics to diagnose & repair the mechanical & electrical components of vehicles
• Listening to customers to learn more about vehicle history, potential problems, & the service they would like to receive
• Performing test drives, inspections, & other diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify where problems exist & determine which parts need to be repaired or replaced
• Completing preventative maintenance on vehicles, such as performing oil changes, flushing and replacing fluids, & replacing brakes
• Inspecting internal systems & controls to ensure the vehicle is operating properly & in compliance with state regulations

Auto Technician Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional education, certifications or experience is generally preferred
• Proven ability to diagnose & repair vehicles and follow safety instructions & directions
• Proficiency with hand tools & other equipment
• Excellent active listening, problem solving, & communication skills
• Self-motivated, independent, & reliable with a strong work ethic
• Drivers license in good standing

• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
