Job Title: Journeyman Machine Repair Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Machine Repair Technician to join our rapidly growing team at a state-of-the-art, temperature-controlled facility in Rochester Hills, Michigan. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing malfunctions with production, packaging, and filling equipment. This role requires fabricating parts using tool room equipment when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions with production and packaging equipment.
• Fabricate parts using tool room equipment such as Bridgeports, Manual Lathes, and Surface Grinders.
• Work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Work overtime and on-call as needed.

• Journeyman Card in Toolmaking, Tool & Die, Machining, or Machine Repair.
• High School Diploma.
• Experience with tool room equipment such as Bridgeports, Manual Lathes, and Drill Presses.
• Experience troubleshooting conveyors and automated equipment.

• Experience in welding.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong communication skills.

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean and sterile manufacturing setting, with separate sterile areas for filling and capping lines. Although the tool room is older, housing machines from the 80s, it is well-maintained. The position involves working in a union environment, with shifts from 3pm to 11:15pm or 11:00pm to 7:15am.

The pay range for this position is $108222.00 - $115797.00/yr.
