Salary Range: $70,000 - $99,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Byron Center that are seeking skilled Quality Supervisors. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train quality control inspectors and technicians.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, procedures, and specifications.
• Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators and metrics.
• Oversee in-process and final product inspections and testing activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for quality processes and systems.
• Manage the investigation and resolution of customer quality complaints.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing quality assurance role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as SPC, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, and Lean/Six Sigma principles.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively manage and develop a quality team.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience as a certified internal or lead auditor (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
• Proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for data analysis and SPC.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional quality improvement projects.
