Junior Architectural Designer

Disbrow Iannuzzi is an award-winning architecture studio located in Ferndale, Michigan. The studio focuses on a variety of architecture, interior design, and design-build projects, including private homes, hospitality, cultural spaces, and commercial workspaces. Our work is widely recognized for its compositional rigor, technical dexterity, and strong organizing ideas, emphasizing innovation, environmental stewardship, and design excellence.
Role Description
We are looking for an exceptional Junior Designer who is comfortable with demanding deadlines, enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and seeks to work on a team that is dedicated to creating beautiful, moving, and meaningful work. This is a full-time, on-site position in our Ferndale, Michigan office.
Qualifications/Expectations:
- A degree in Architecture from an accredited university
- 0-3 years professional work experience
- Strong interpersonal spoken and written skills
- Excellent concept design abilities represented with renderings, iterative models, diagrams, and architectural drawings
- Ability to execute exceptional presentation deliverables within tight schedules
- Proficiency working with Sketchup/Rhino and Enscape to create 3D digital models and renderings
- Proficiency working with Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite to create architectural drawings, models, and presentation materials
