Property Cleanout Crew - Per Job Pay, As-Needed Work

INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR - PROPERTY CLEANOUT SERVICES

Go Disposal provides professional property cleanout services to real estate investors, property management companies, and estate sale professionals throughout the Grand Rapids area.

Position Summary:
We are seeking reliable independent contractors to assist with property cleanout projects on an as-needed basis. This is contract work with variable scheduling based on incoming job volume. Contractors should understand that work frequency fluctuates and there is no guarantee of consistent weekly hours or income.

Compensation Structure:

• Payment ranges from $100-$150 per completed project (typically 4-8 hours of work)
• Same-day payment upon job completion via cash or electronic transfer
• Classified as 1099 independent contractor position
• Contractors are responsible for their own tax obligations

Work Expectations:

• Job assignments are provided on short notice, typically 24-48 hours in advance
• Work volume varies significantly; contractors may receive multiple assignments one week and none the next
• Availability for last-minute scheduling is highly valued
• Jobs are assigned on a first-available basis among qualified contractors

Primary Responsibilities:

• Remove furniture, appliances, and debris from residential properties
• Transport items to designated dumpsters or disposal areas
• Maintain organized work areas during the cleanout process
• Handle materials in varying conditions, including properties requiring extensive cleanup
• Work efficiently to complete projects within estimated timeframes
• Communicate professionally with property owners and project coordinator

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the workday
• Capability to perform continuous physical labor for 4-8 hour periods
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions
• Able to navigate stairs, tight spaces, and uneven terrain while carrying heavy loads

Required Qualifications:

• Reliable personal transportation to job sites throughout Grand Rapids area
• Availability for short-notice job assignments
• Physically capable of demanding manual labor
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Professional demeanor when interacting with clients
• Independance and clear communication

Preferred Qualifications:

• Access to pickup truck or cargo vehicle
• Previous experience in moving, construction, demolition, or general labor
• Familiarity with proper lifting techniques and safety practices
