Salary Range: $64,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily quality inspection activities and personnel.
• Ensure adherence to established quality standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the investigation and resolution of non-conformances and customer complaints.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate quality inspection staff.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives for quality processes.
• Analyze quality data and prepare comprehensive reports for management review.
• Facilitate and participate in internal and external quality audits.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing setting, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, 8D).
• Proven ability to lead, train, and develop a team of quality professionals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and using various measurement tools.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience; ASQ certification (e.g., CQE, CQA) preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or equivalent certification
• Experience implementing or optimizing automated inspection systems (e.g., vision systems, CMMs)
