Salary Range: $55,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily fabrication activities and workflow.
• Supervise, train, and mentor fabrication technicians.
• Ensure all fabricated parts meet quality specifications and standards.
• Optimize production schedules and resource allocation to meet deadlines.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and policies within the fabrication area.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Collaborate with engineering and production planning to resolve issues and improve processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong technical proficiency in various fabrication methods (welding, cutting, forming) and blueprint interpretation.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing, training, and motivating a team of fabricators.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and enforcing strict safety protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities for fabrication processes and equipment.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining a diverse range of fabrication machinery.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies
• Advanced certification in specialized welding techniques (e.g., TIG, orbital welding)
• Previous experience mentoring junior fabricators or leading training sessions
