Warehouse Worker

Seeking candidates to assist with warehouse operations for a major project at our Belleville location. This role involves handling various warehouse tasks, ensuring the smooth flow of goods, and maintaining safety and organization within the facility.

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to the correct destination.
• Efficiently stage, stack, and load merchandise in appropriate areas.
• Move products from staging and/or unloading areas into the correct load door and assigned trailer.
• Ensure the trailer is secured and chocked prior to entering, following safety policies.
• Load and unload products using appropriate handling techniques.
• Segregate, check, and stage inbound product correctly.
• Verify the driver, trailer, and bills for the specific carrier and location.
• Count freight with the driver and ensure all requirements are followed.
• Load the trailer for safe transit and ensure the driver signs all required paperwork.
• Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed.
• Maintain the facility to provide a clean, safe work environment.
• Maintain an organized and orderly desk/office area.
• Perform other duties as assigned, such as cleaning, organizing, and sweeping the work area.

• Experience in picking and packing based on a pick slip or customer order form.
• Ability to utilize a computer or RF Scanners to track inventory.
• Experience in scanning products in/out when packing orders.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand, walk, and lift for the entire duration of the shift.
• Use of steel-toed boots/shoes.

• Experience with material handling, forklift operation, general labor, and warehouse inventory.
• Skill in order picking, shipping and receiving, and operating a pallet jack.

Our client-focused operations span multiple sectors, including automotive, aerospace, pharmaceutical, healthcare, consumer retail, and food & beverage. With about 250 employees, the environment is vibrant and service-oriented. Shifts are available from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and 3:30 PM - Midnight, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belleville, MI.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
