Software Develop

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing applications and websites that support both business operations and manufacturing processes. This role requires versatility across multiple programming languages, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to troubleshoot and innovate in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, Python, Perl, and other relevant programming languages.
• Web Development: Build and update web applications using MVC frameworks, specifically ASP.NET MVC 5.2.3.0, Bootstrap 3.3.7, and jQuery 3.2.1.
• Database & Reporting: Write SQL queries and develop complex reports using MS Report Builder and Power BI.
• Code Quality: Participate in peer code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and adherence to standards.
• Ticket Management: Monitor and manage the software development ticketing system, responding to and resolving submitted requests.
• Documentation: Contribute to documentation of legacy code and internally developed applications to support long-term maintainability.
• Cybersecurity Collaboration: Work closely with the IT department to support and implement cybersecurity initiatives.
• Manufacturing Support: Troubleshoot and resolve issues with manufacturing equipment and its integration with internally developed software.
• Vendor Integration: Develop applications that enhance or support the functionality of vendor-supplied manufacturing equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proficiency in C#, Python, Perl, and SQL preferred but not required.
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Bootstrap, and jQuery preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Power BI, MS Report Builder, and relational databases preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control and code reviews.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams, especially with IT and manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles is a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing environments or equipment integration is preferred but not required.
