Master Plumber
Relapath is seeking a Master Plumber for a direct-hire role to service clients in the Metro Detroit area. This is a full-time, direct-hire position with our client!
- Responsibilities
- Perform annual testing of backflow prevention assemblies.
- Diagnose failed backflow preventers and determine the appropriate repair or replacement.
- Repair and rebuild backflow prevention assemblies.
- Replace backflow preventers when repairs are not practical or cost-effective.
- Complete electronic test reports and submit required documentation to municipalities and water authorities.
- Coordinate testing and repairs with customers while providing exceptional service.
- Maintain testing equipment, inventory, and company vehicle.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing codes, local regulations, and industry standards.
- Qualifications
- Current Michigan Master Plumber License.
- Current Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester Certification (ASSE 5110 or equivalent as required by local jurisdictions).
- Experience testing, repairing, and replacing commercial backflow prevention assemblies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience using tablets or mobile devices for digital reporting is preferred.
