Salary Range: $54,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Allendale seeking HR Generalists who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing and operational roles, including high-volume staffing.
• Provide expert guidance and support on employee relations issues, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure HR policy compliance and adherence to labor laws and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
• Facilitate comprehensive new hire onboarding and conduct exit interviews tailored for a plant environment.
• Support performance management processes and coordinate essential training and development programs, including safety.
• Administer benefits programs and assist with payroll processing for all plant employees.
• Serve as a trusted resource for employees and management on all HR-related inquiries and concerns.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including OSHA regulations relevant to HR.
• Demonstrated proficiency in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR policy implementation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build trust with a diverse workforce, including hourly employees.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience supporting a unionized workforce, including grievance resolution.
• OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification, or demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing safety regulations.
• Proficiency in Spanish or another language prevalent in the local manufacturing workforce.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, UKG).
