Delivery specialist - Sandwich delivery

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment? Jimmy John's is hiring sandwich delivery specialists for our Gaylord location. Our store will be re-opening soon and we need enthusiastic individuals who are ready to take phone orders, create delicious sandwiches when needed to, work the register and keep our store clean and organized.

Responsibilities:

• Work the cash register and handle customer payments
• Keep the store clean and organized, including restocking supplies
• Provide excellent customer service to all guests
• Multitask between in-store customers and drive-thru customers
• Maintain a sense of urgency to keep up with the high volume of orders
• Delivery orders throughout Gaylord and some of the surrounding residential neighborhoods.
• On occasion craft sandwiches and put orders together for your own deliveries.

Requirements:

• Reliable vehicle that is self insured
• Clean driving record to be covered under our insurance blanket
• Great driving habits and ability to take online tests to be certified for our insurance
• Prior experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Good people skills with an ability to work well in a team
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be at least 18 years old

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
