Salary Range: $53,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily fabrication operations, ensuring production schedules are met.
• Ensure all fabricated products adhere to quality standards and specifications.
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of fabrication technicians.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices in the fabrication area.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to fabrication processes and equipment.
• Manage material inventory and optimize resource allocation for fabrication projects.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on fabrication experience in a manufacturing setting, including expertise in welding, cutting, and forming.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience managing a team of fabricators, including scheduling and task delegation.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Strong knowledge of various metals, their properties, and best practices for fabrication processes.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high safety standards and quality control protocols in a fabrication environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot fabrication challenges and implement effective solutions to optimize production efficiency.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Advanced welding certifications (e.g., CWI, specific AWS certifications).
• Hands-on experience with CNC fabrication equipment operation or programming.
