Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: 18.36/hr

Job Summary

We are seeking a multi-faceted Bindery Operator who has working knowledge of running and learning various bindery equipment. The ideal candidate will have a print-shop or industrial bindery background as well as the additional qualifications listed.

Job Duties:

• Operate various binding equipment including but not limited to: Drill Press, Saddle Stitcher, Slitter/Cutter/Crease, or Perfect Binder.
• Ability to ready and interpret various units of measurement, fractions, and decimals
• Ability to use various measurement tools
• Troubleshoot machinery for any issues
• Input data into system using computer software

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• 2+ years of experience in industrial bindery operation/print-shop bindery
• Trade in Bindery is a plus
• Ability to learn/understand cutting /binding process
• Working knowledge and experience with various substrates and how they are impacted by the cutting/binding processes
• Ability to demonstrate basic math skills
• Learn/understand units of measure, fractions, decimals, etc.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Lift up to 60lbs
