Salary Range: $72,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure high availability and optimal performance of IT infrastructure supporting manufacturing operations, including servers, networks, and industrial workstations.
• Administer and maintain manufacturing-specific applications such as MES, SCADA, ERP integrations, and CAD/CAM systems.
• Perform regular system backups, implement disaster recovery plans, and ensure data integrity for critical production data.
• Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues affecting production lines and office environments.
• Manage network infrastructure, including LAN, WLAN, and connectivity to operational technology (OT) systems.
• Implement and enforce cybersecurity protocols across IT and OT environments to protect intellectual property and operational continuity.
• Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel on system usage and best practices.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficient in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and cybersecurity best practices for industrial environments.
• Experience supporting manufacturing-specific applications (e.g., ERP, MES, SCADA) and integrating with OT systems.
• Demonstrated experience with data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning in a production setting.
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g., PowerShell) for system automation and efficient task management.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) systems (e.g., SCADA, MES, PLCs).
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP) and network segmentation for OT.
• Experience supporting or integrating IT systems with manufacturing ERP solutions (e.g., SAP, Infor, Epicor).
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems (ICS) or OT environments.
