Job Overview
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a skilled Echo Technologist to perform echocardiograms and assist in diagnosing cardiovascular conditions while ensuring patient comfort and image quality. Responsibilities
- Perform transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiography examinations.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high?quality cardiac images for cardiologist review.
- Assess and record patient history pertinent to cardiac testing and explain procedures to patients.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams to interpret results and optimize patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure adherence to hospital, state, and federal imaging protocols and quality standards.
- Adapt quickly to different facility workflows and contribute positively to each healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Cardiovascular Technology, or related field.
- Current RDCS or RCS certification required (state licensure where applicable).
- Minimum 1 year of experience performing echocardiograms.
- Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and interpreting cardiac images.
- Excellent communication, critical?thinking, and patient?care skills.
- Willingness and ability to accept travel assignments across multiple facilities.
