Salary: $17 per hour

The Direct Care Worker/Medication Technician is responsible for the daily supervision and care of the client as determined by each clients individual treatment plan. The ideal candidate will be able to assist clients who need partial to total care as well as the ability to complete daily medication passes, housekeeping tasks, and preparation of meals while providing direct care to patients.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED
• Experience: Prefer at least THREE years experience with the TBI population or rehabilitation.
• Current valid driver's license with no more than (3) points or a valid state ID.
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Negative TB test result needed prior to hire
  
• Able to work harmoniously with all clients and staff members
• Ability to transfer clients, lift, bend, stretch, sit, stand

What You Will Do:

• Provide direct care to adult clients based on established care plan.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living skills including bathing, dressing, grooming. Supervise, and/or assist clients in accordance with the person-centered plan, including personal care, recreation, and reinforcement of individual rehabilitation objectives.
• Administer and document medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and/or health care professionals.
• Chart each clients daily documentation log including goals, completed tasks, and behavior before the end of your shift.
  
• Moderate housekeeping/cleaning duties are assigned daily
• Prepare and/or serve meals according to a set menu and adherence to prescribed diets.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Starts at $17.00/hr

Schedule:

• 8-12 hour shifts
• Day Shift 7:00a-3:00p
• Afternoon Shift varies 2:00p-11:00p
• Night shift 10:00p-7:00a
• Rotating weekends and alternate holidays are required
