PSDS Harness Coordination & Issue Management Engineer

Position Summary
We are seeking an PSDS Harness Coordination & Issue Management Engineer to support day-to-day coordination, issue tracking, and execution across PSDS harness-related work. This role will focus on helping drive action closure, maintain alignment across teams, and ensure progress on wiring harness and electrical distribution activities.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to build technical depth in wire harness and vehicle electrical systems while gaining exposure to cross-functional engineering collaboration. You will work closely with experienced engineers and leaders, supporting execution and helping keep projects on track.
Primary Responsibilities
Support day-to-day coordination across PSDS and wire harness activities
Track open issues, follow up on action items, and help drive closure
Work with cross-functional teams to resolve blockers and maintain timelines
Assist in preparing updates for engineering reviews (status, risks, open issues)
Partner with design, integration, validation, and supplier teams to stay aligned
Identify risks or delays and escalate with support from senior team members
Help improve team organization, follow-up, and execution discipline
Support standard work, issue tracking processes, and team operating rhythms
Assist with prioritizing daily tasks and maintaining focus on key deliverables
Provide coordination support to senior engineers and technical leads
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
0–3 years of experience in engineering, automotive, or related technical field (internships/co-ops included)
Basic understanding or interest in wire harness, PSDS, or vehicle electrical systems
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on commitments
Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced engineering environment
Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Internship, co-op, or project experience related to electrical systems or automotive engineering
Exposure to wiring harness design, electrical architecture, or similar topics
Familiarity with engineering processes such as testing, validation, or issue tracking
Experience working on team-based projects
Interest in automotive or vehicle systems development
