THE POSITION

Sr Supplier Quality Specialist, AUMOVIO Systems, Inc. f/k/a Continental Automotive Systems, Inc., Auburn Hills, MI:

Responsible for supplier quality management for specific software category. Assure systems and software quality for assigned suppliers. Develop suppliers to the required quality level and perform improvement programs. Perform supplier assessments for software suppliers (software related processes). Active participation on supplier selection and sourcing process. Maintain and track target KPIs and goals for quality plan fulfillment. Contribute to continuous improvement of supplier quality processes, guidelines and systems. Facilitate systematic and effective risk management and problem resolution with suppliers.

Telecommuting permitted up to 4 days per month.

Full time employment, Monday -- Friday, 40 hours per week.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Multimedia Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience in the area of embedded software development.

Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

• Test or development of Automotive Software for vehicle functions such as engines, lighting and displays;
• Software Project Management;
• Lead Software Quality Management processes, such as the change release process and the new Software development process;
• Software quality assurance for automotive projects;
• Development methodologies such as SAFe (Scale Agile Framework);
• Conducting software quality management systems assessments; and
• Conducting process compliance checks and supplier process audits for production software.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in:

• Quality management systems and maturity models such as Automotive SPICE (Software Process Improvement and Capability Determination) or CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration).

Must have Automotive SPICE Certification or License (minimum Provisional Assessor Level).

Telecommuting permitted up to 4 days per month.

International travel required up to 10%. Domestic travel required up to 10%.
