OnStaff USA is recruiting a Machine Maintenance Technician for a well-established local electronics manufacturing facility in the Otsego. This company produces printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) used in medical, automotive, and industrial applications, operating in a clean, temperature- and climate-controlled production environment.

The organization continues to invest in growth and recently expanded its footprint with an additional facility in the Grand Rapids area, signaling long-term stability and opportunity.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with** **training on 1st shift, followed by placement on 2nd shift once training is complete (typically around 30 days).

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on production equipment

  • Support equipment uptime in an electronics-focused manufacturing environment

  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist with corrective maintenance

  • Read and follow technical manuals, work instructions, and basic drawings

  • Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area

  • Assist with additional maintenance or departmental tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • 1+ year of recent maintenance or manufacturing equipment experience

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (electronics or assembly preferred)

  • Comfortable working around automated or semi-automated production equipment

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures

  • Strong attendance, reliability, and work ethic

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Shift & Pay

  • Training (approximately 30 days): 1st shift | 7:00AM - 3:30PM

  • Long-term assignment: 2nd shift | 3:00PM - 11:30PM

  • Pay range: $16.00 – $20.00/hr (based on experience)
