Salary Range: $94,000 - $141,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain critical IT infrastructure and systems across office and manufacturing plant operations.
• Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of production systems (e.g., MES, SCADA, ERP integration) and shop floor networks.
• Lead IT projects for technology adoption, automation, and digital transformation initiatives within the manufacturing environment.
• Provide technical support and problem resolution for IT hardware, software, and operational technology (OT) issues impacting production.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans to minimize operational disruption in the plant.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify technology needs and optimize manufacturing processes through IT solutions.
• Oversee IT vendor relationships and procurement for hardware, software, and services relevant to manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong background in IT infrastructure, network management, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Proven experience with manufacturing-specific IT systems such as ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle), MES, or SCADA.
• Demonstrated ability to lead IT projects, manage budgets, and oversee vendor relationships.
• Experience in managing, mentoring, and developing an IT team.
• Understanding of manufacturing operations and production processes to align IT strategy with business goals.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) systems and IT/OT convergence
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, AI/ML, automation) in a production environment
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies
• Direct experience with major manufacturing ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, Infor, Rockwell Automation)
