Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years in Progressive Care Unit/Stepdown/Telemetry License: Current licensure by the state board of nursing Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services - Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare personnel Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Demonstrates clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to create effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit or department. Performs a diverse range of professional nursing services.
