Cost Accountant - Hybrid POST NUMBER: 475288
Vaco is partnering directly with the CFO of a growing manufacturing company seeking a hands-on Cost Accountant to support plant operations. Contract OPENING STARTS IMMEDIATELY
Where: Canton, MA
When: Immediate Need
Pay: $55-$65/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and maintain standard costs , variances, and inventory reporting
- Partner with plant leadership on cost control and efficiency initiatives
- Support month-end close , including journal entries and reconciliations
- Evaluate manufacturing KPIs , margins, and production performance
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting for plant operations
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment
- Deep understanding of plant operations and inventory accounting
- Advanced Excel skills (ERP experience preferred)
