Salary Range: $61,000 - $93,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Otsego that are seeking skilled Industrial Electricians. Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in production machinery and facility infrastructure.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical systems, motors, and controls.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical components, wiring, and equipment according to schematics and safety codes.
• Calibrate and test electrical instruments, sensors, and control devices.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Adhere strictly to all electrical safety codes, company policies, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting, programming, and system integration.

Recommended Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent industrial certification.
• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, and industrial automation.
• Demonstrated adherence to electrical safety codes (e.g., NFPA 70E) and lockout/tagout procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

• PLC programming and advanced troubleshooting experience (e.g., ladder logic modification)
• Robotics maintenance and troubleshooting experience
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) commissioning and programming
• Instrumentation and process control experience (e.g., calibration, PID tuning)
