Echo Ultrasound Tech - Cardiac Sonographer

Join our team as an Echo Ultrasound Tech / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist in Manistee, MI. Use your expertise to operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, prepare patients for echocardiographic procedures, and produce diagnostic-quality images of the heart for interpretation by cardiology teams. The role includes performing transthoracic and stress echocardiography exams and working independently within the department while collaborating with cardiologists and other clinicians.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Cardiac Sonography, or related field.
• ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience performing adult echocardiography, including stress echocardiography.
• Experience working independently within a hospital echocardiology department and collaborating with cardiologists.
• Experience using Cerner EMR preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer preferred.
• Experience with a range of echo exams and advanced imaging protocols preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700 - 1530.
• Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, 40 hours/week.
• Weekends: No weekend requirement.
• Holidays: No holiday requirement.
• On-call: No on-call requirement.
• Scrubs: any color.
