At Behavioral Health Works, our Behavior Technicians work one-on-one with kids with autism, helping them build communication, social, and everyday life skills through ABA therapy. No corporate fluff. While we appreciate interest in short-term opportunities, this role requires a minimum six-month commitment to maintain continuity of care and support positive outcomes for our clients.

What you'll actually be doing:

• Working directly with kids using play-based ABA therapy (yes, you get paid to play)
• Teaching communication, social, and self-help skills
• Tracking progress and collecting session data on your phone or tablet
• Partnering with families and a clinical team that has your back

• Competitive pay - $19 to $23/hr

You're probably a great fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Are available weekday afternoons or evenings (3 to 8pm, minimum 3 days/week)
• Have a reliable car, valid license, and insurance
• Are comfortable with tech, you'll use your phone/tablet for data collection
• Have experience or a passion for caregiving, education, or working with kids with special needs (preferred, not required)

We'd especially love to hear from you if you have experience or interest in: paraprofessional work, caregiving, coaching, tutoring, special education, social work, mental health advocacy, youth programs, foster care, childcare, camp counseling, or any related field. Studying psychology, education, social work, human development, or something similar? Even better.
