Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-12 school setting located in Port Huron, MI. This full-time, onsite contract position offers an excellent opportunity to work with an elementary caseload during the school year.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-12, focusing primarily on elementary-aged children
- Conduct assessments to identify students communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and collaboratively
Location: Port Huron, MI
Work Schedule: Onsite, 35 hours per week
Contract Length: School Year (NSY)
